In Fall 2020, I found myself in a musicmaking rut. I had several friends/mentors/musical heroes who challenged me about the Disting series. Was I being too process-oriented about the musical journey that I had embarked upon since putting together a modular synthesizer?

I tried to put together a cohesive set of tracks, songs, and experiments of the last 4 1/2 years that were outside of the Disting box that I had drawn myself into and was struggling to continue with. And it sounded pretty damn good.
